Character is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. When we choose integrity, kindness and responsibility, we build a school community where everyone can thrive.

We are excited to share that Ocean Springs School District will be launching a district-wide character education initiative this school year. At the heart of this initiative is a set of core values we want every Greyhound to embody—traits that reflect the strength, kindness, and excellence we strive for in our schools and community.

Each month, we will focus on one of these important character traits. Our goal is to help all of our students develop into well-rounded individuals who not only succeed academically but also contribute positively to their school and community. We invite you to join us in reinforcing these traits at home and celebrating your child’s growth throughout the year.
