VEX Club

The Ocean Springs Middle School VEX Robotics Program provides students with advanced, competitive robotics experiences through the VEX Robotics platform. At the middle school level, students transition into the highly competitive VEX Robotics Competition (VRC), where strategy, precision engineering, and high-level coding come together.

Our program is designed to prepare students for high school Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathways and future STEM careers. Students learn to think like engineers — identifying problems, developing solutions, testing prototypes, and refining their designs under competition constraints. Through competition, students develop resilience, time management, leadership, and professional communication skills.

Our middle school teams represent Ocean Springs with professionalism, integrity, and competitive excellence.

We welcome students who are motivated, collaborative, and ready to take on engineering challenges.

For information about joining, sponsoring, or supporting Ocean Springs Middle School VEX Robotics, please contact Melissa Sundberg at msundberg@ossdms.org.
